Big goals, like running a marathon or half marathon is a big goal. Trying to Boston Qualify (BQ) can seem like a huge mountain to get over.  But you don't have to do it alone.  If you want to conquer Everest you will need help.  Guides, sherpas a whole crew of people, To tackle the marathon it can take a crew.  Training partners to run with, help keep you motivated.  Friends to keep you on track can be priceless. Doing a long run alone can be tough.  Who else do you need?

A nutritionist perhaps? 

How about a physical therapist to keep you healthy. 

A running coach?  A coach is more then a plan.  Lots of places to find marathon training plans.  Probably more plans out there then marathons. A coach can personalize a plan for you, ,make adjustments to the plan and more.  Some one to hold you accountable to your plan and offer motivation or advice.  Perhaps just someone to lean on.  

You don't need to do it alone.  You and a coach should be a team.  Of course the teams goal is to get you to the finish line. 

My time coaching I find helping others reach their running goals extremely satisfying,  its a great feeling helping others to reach there goals.

I got certified by the RRCA in 2022 and V.02 certified in 2025.  I hope to provide my runners with good solid training plans and support thru out the training cycle and on race day.  No matter what I want them to know I'm here to help them be the best runner they can.
